I am trying to connect to Team Foundation Service through a proxy. Visual Studio 2012 (and 2010) is not able to connect to any internet services; specifically Team Foundation Service and the Extensions Manager.
All other applications are working fine with the proxy (Firefox, Chrome, IE, Dropbox, Skype etc).
When connecting to a TFS server I receive error 407 saying "Proxy Authentication Required" but there was no prompt to enter proxy details.
If I go to the Web Interface of TFS and click the "open new instance of VS 2012" link, it opens VS 2012 but it is not connected to the internet.
Extension Manager says "Please click here to enter your credentials" but when I do so, nothing happens. The message just remains.
Please help!! I am going mad.
