I have a TFS 2012 setup with build completed notifications. The notifications are configured to go to defined TFS teams for the project. Most teams comprise of an active directory group. The active directory group has a distribution email on it.
When a build completed event fires I get one email which is addressed to the distribution email and another to the user. I was under the impression that AD groups added to membership for a team must also be distribution groups for Exchange. Is this not true? Does removing their distribution list status stop the double emails?
