I've tried multiple things to get this working, but with no success at all.
I can see the "Team" tab in Excel, but clicking the "New List" button results in this error:
"TF84037: There was a problem initializing the Microsoft Excel Team Foundation AddIn. Re-installing the Team Foundation Client may be required"
If I open a team query in Team Explorer 2008 and click the export to Excel button, I get the following:
"TF80042: The document cannot be opened because you do not have Microsoft Excel 2003 or later, or one of its components installed. For more information, see the Team Foundation Installation Guide."
I am running Windows 7 Pro (32-bit) and have Microsoft Office 2010 SP1 (32-bit) installed.
I installed Visual Studio 2008, Team Explorer 2008, Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and the Forward Compatibility Pack (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974558). This did not work.
I've tried unregistering the TFSOfficeAdd-In.dll and re-registering it, didn't work.
I have .NET programmability support enabled in the Office install and the primary interop assemblies installed, still doesn't work.
I've also tried reinstalling everything again, still won't work.
I've followed multiple guides/suggestions online, but can't get it to work.
Is functionality between TFS Team Explorer 2008 and Office 2010 supported or am I wasting my time? Any helpful information is appreciated.
