Hi,
Our current TFS is on version 2010 SP1. We did a trial migration to TFS 2015 SP1. And it seems to migrate successfully. It did take around a day as our collection is around 500GB in size.
Anyway, my question is about the build controller (Xaml Controller). It seems that the build controller disappeared after migration. The build agent records seems to be in the database. Did we missed anything? When I recreated the controller in 2015, and re-register the build agents, it complains about mismatch versions.
I thought, TFS Build 2010 is supported in TFS 2015. Do we have to upgrade all our build agents, currently around 130+ machines post migration (this is going to be a daunting task :()?
Also, the screenshots I found from the forums, the TFS 'Upgrade' screens has a 'build' tab. But when we did the migration, this is not present and just goes to the Reporting Services.
Is migration from 2010 SP1 even a supported path? Or should we use a different migration path?
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks heaps.
Thanks heaps.
