Hi,
I work at Lucidchart (www.lucidchart.com), the largest online diagramming and charting application, and was hoping to chat with a few Visual Studio users about the value of integrating Lucidchart with VS. If anyone would be open for a quick chat, can you email me blaine[at]lucidchart.com?
We've done a similar integration with JIRA that you can see here with a video. Below are the main benefits to Visual Studio users:
- Embed diagrams in stories and work items to clearly communicate using diagrams, wireframes, mockups, flowcharts, etc.
- Create, see, or insert diagrams directly from Visual Studio (instead having to open PPT or other desktop diagramming applications to see the file)
- Import Visio diagrams for easy insertion into stories / work items
- Create UML, ERD, network, and other diagrams for technical documentation
- Use wireframes, mockups, site maps, flowcharts, etc. to communicate user experience / design
We have a number of free integrations - Google Apps, Confluence, JIRA, Hipchat / Slack. Office, etc. - and are looking to do more. I'd very much appreciate a few quick minutes to get your feedback on how a Visual Studio integration might work, and who would use it.
Thanks!
