Why is my code TF Cloud code repository not connecting with my VS Cloud SCRUM project

This is maddening.

I am shaking out launching a new project with Visual Studio Cloud and Team Foundation Cloud on a new project start. I'm trying to convince the project owner that this is the way to manage a small software effort of a few programmers. All unfamiliar (including myself) with SCRUM discipline and using visual studio cloud.

I mastered mapping. I have my account at microsoft.com at both azure and karron.visualstudio.com.  I checked in a set of code on my account and I want to compile it on my colleagues account. The code repository appears for me. But not for my colleague. He is not getting his invitations. I logged in as my colleague from his account to my account.  The azure default blather code appears in the <g class="gr_ gr_682 gr-alert gr_gramm Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="682" id="682">project</g> but the code is all missing.

Why is this and what to do?

We are going to lose out on this if I can't show the group that this is the way to small  project management. We just went through code development hell and I want to try to not repeat it. But this is upsetting, especially since I'm the main proponent of some kind of code development discipline and cost measurement.
