Why is the Requested URL and Physical Path the browser is trying to use different from the actual path?

I'm trying to bind my project to TFS, with partial success (see
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17459016/how-can-i-rebind-my-project-in-tfs for some of the details/travails).

I assume that it is because of the "partial" nature of the binding that I get a WSOD when trying to run the asp.net app:

[WSOD_Censored.png]

What I notice is that the Requested URL and the Physical Path are missing the "Views" folder from the project.

The error message says it's looking for:
Requested URL: http://localhost:80/ABCReporter/ABCCriteria/ReceiptCriteria

Physical Path:
C:\Project\ccr\TLog\Development\Development\ABC\ABCReporter\ABCCriteria\ReceiptCriteria

...but the project's path to Receipt Criteria is:

Solution 'Enterprise Reporting'\ABCReporter\Views\ABCCriteria\ReceiptCriteria.cshtml

...and the path to the local copy of Receipt Criteria is:

C:\Project\ccr\TLog\Development\Development\ABC\ABCReporter\Views\ABCCriteria\ReceiptCriteria.cshtml

So in the case of the project structure, the project has a "Views" folder that the browser is not taking into account, apparently.

In terms of the actual local path in comparison with "Physical Path" the browser is looking for, it is also the "Views" folder that is omitted from where the browser is searching.

Why is this mismatch occurring, and how can I rectify it? Rearranging the structure of the project is not an option. I need to know how to get the browser to be looking in the right place. I'm assuming this is directly related to my TFS
issues, but am not sure.
