I just updated my computer to Windows 8.1 and installed Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2013. I made sure that it worked while I was on campus, but when I got back to my offsite office and connected with either Direct Access or VPN 6.2, the following happens:
After connecting to corpnet through DA or VPN, I try to launch VSTFS. It starts up normally and looks like its about to connect, but then it just disappears. No error messages, no nothing. Just disappears. When I try to start it again, the splash screen appears and then it disappears. It sometimes screws up my connection and I have to reconnect to Corpnet.
I tried deleting the cache files, but that only caused it to behave like I was starting it for the first time again.
I'm trying to determine if I need to open certain ports or not in the firewall to get this to work, or if it's something else altogether.
