Hi,
We are using TFS 2012 Update 2 with VS 2012 (Premium and Ultimate) Update 2 versions of the software. Some team memembers have VS 2012 Ultimate while others have VS 2012 Premium. This is a fresh TFS 2012 install and we created a fresh team collection with fresh team project using SCRUM 2.2 template.
I have the following question:
1) When the developer submits a code review request and the reviewer completes the review. The developer is able to see in the pending changes window of VS 2012 that there is now a code review work item ASSOCIATED with the task which is set to RESOLVED againist which the source files were modified. When the developer checks in the changes we are NOT ABLE to see the code review work item under the LINKS tab. We can manually add a RELATED link by seraching for the code review work item id at this time. What steps we need to follow so that the code review is properly linked automatically at the time of check-in?I have tried both closing the code review by using the Code Review > Completed option before the check-in as well as NOT closing the code review but nothing works. In the end I have to manually link the work item.
Can someone provide a proper code review workflow (steps that need to be taken) in the correct order for things to work. FYI, we DID NOT make any changes to SCRUM 2.2 template so everything is working as per OOB (out-of-box) configuration.
Thanks in advance,
