so I am using Visual Studio 2012 with TFS 2010. Visual studio has Update 2 installed. The opperating system is Windows 7 Professional 64bit with Service Pack 1 and is up to date in terms of updates.
I am experienceing the following issues:
When clicking on pending changes in the Team Explorer window Server explorer becomes unresponsive. The rest of the environment still seems to function but I cannot use the Server Explorer.
When trying to shelve changes, after having named the shelve set and clicking on the shelve button, the entire environment becomes unresponsive. I can't click on anything. It just freezes completely. The Visual Studio window does not grey out but I cannot interact with the dev environment at all.
I cannot afford the time lost on my projects caused by these issues. Searching the internet for solutions yields nothing but people suggesting that there is nothing to do but switch back to VS2010.
What gives?
