Hello,
Our company is currently in the process of merging everyone onto one domain and we are starting to see our TFS users get moved. We currently manage two instances of TFS, one is TFS 2008 and the other is TFS 2010.
We have run both the tfsadminutil sid command (TFS 2008) and tfsconfig identities command (TFS 2010) a handful of times and are experiencing the same behavior for both. When the command is run, we can see in TFSnewdomain\ID but within an hour it will revert back to originaldomain\ID. I did come across the following blog, which explains the revert behavior: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vasu_sankaran/archive/2010/06/07/identity-change-in-tfs-2010.aspx.
We tried removing the users workspace before running the command, thinking TFS was picking that up and causing the revert, but that didn't prevent the behavior. Is there a way to prevent the AD Synchronization from picking up on the old domain account?
Thank you!
Kristin
