TFS 2012 update 2 to TFS 2013 update 3 Migration

I currently have a TFS 2012 update 2 server running with a SQL Server 2008 R2 database on a Windows 2008 R2 platform.

Rather than perform an 'in-place' upgrade, I am considering creating a new Windows 2012 R2 server with a clean installation of TFS 2013, SQL Server 2014 and SharePoint 2013. All on the same new server as our current set-up.
 
Following the migration, is there a nice way to retain the existing URL that is currently used by our users to connect to the TFS environment or will they be forced to use the new URL associated with the new server? 

I suspect that we will need to use a new URL but thought it best to ask.
