In TFS 2010 we are consistently getting a "TF246018: The database operation exceeded the timeout limit and has been cancelled"
It seems from the output that the "Associate changesets and work items" could be what is causing the issue. With the option to Associate Changesets and work items set to false the build will complete.
I've tried running the TFS Best Practice tool and through that have noticed that there is an error "Full Analysis Database Sync" part of the process. The error is:
TF221122: An error occurred running job Full Analysis Database Sync for team project collection or Team Foundation server TEAM FOUNDATION. ---> Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server.AnalysisServiceConnectionException: Error encountered when creating connection to Analysis Services. Contact your Team Foundation Server administrator
What is the implication of constantly running the build with this option off and does anyone know how I can fix the issues please?
