tf14091: you cannot perform this operation on workspace. domain/eid are not the owner of the workspace

Hi,

I have started getting this error message when I try to use Team Explorer for any activity on TFS

tf14091: you cannot perform this operation on workspace. domain/eid are not the owner of the workspace

I have followed instructions to clear the VS cache used by using the following command, but all in vain

tf workspaces /remove:*

tf workspaces /s:TFS_ServerName

I noticed one thing peculiar though - my username

When I try to get the owner of the workspace (tf workspaces /owner:*), it shows the owner asworkspacename;domain\username@domain.local. Whereas for other users, it showsworkspacename;domain\username (without @domain.local)

In the active directory, I could see that my account is created just the way other accounts are created.

I am stuck with this issue for quite some time now and this is hampering my work schedule. Any help would be much appreciated.
