When we do "open in excel" on a result set of a work items query from within VS 2012, the result set is opened in EXCEL and generally possible to be edited and published back from the EXCEL into TFS.
Problem exists when the field is HTML based in TFS, e.g. ReproSteps in Work Item Bug. In such case, trying to update the ReproSteps contents in the Excel, results in a warning that one might loose the RichText formatting and contents turn to be plain text without editing layout :(.
Is there a workaround or something to do, in order to bypass or resolve this issue ? Maybe some trick via Excel itself, as the field is HTML in background but not shown as such - obviously shown nicely as layed out rich text, that otherwise in EXCEL regularly would be easily editable as one would want.
Thank u
